Yorkshire Terrier 🐾 Recommend a book set in England, that is short in length, OR features a parent.
TBR: Playing for Keeps by R.L. Mathewson
New: Bitter Sweet Love by Jennifer L. Armentrout (This is the prequel short story to a YA fantasy/romance series about gargoyles! Unique and Jennifer L. Armentrout is a wonderful author. I think you'll like her since you're a fan of Richelle Mead.)

Airedale Terrier 🐾 Recommend a book with a historical setting, features nobility, OR features a character that wears a uniform.
TBR: Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas
New: The Shadow Queen by C.J. Redwine (YA retelling of Snow White with dragons!)

TBR: The Heir by Kiera Cass
New: An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir (I don't have words for this book! Incredibly intense YA dystopia with amazing fantasy elements.)

TBR: Silver Shadows by Richelle Mead
New: Kindling the Moon by Jenn Bennett (The first book in a freakin' amazing completed urban fantasy series! So unique, fun, and intense.)

4. Staffordshire Bull Terrier: The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins is a great dystopian story. A beautifully written YA where Blue is the only non-psychic in the family with The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater. She learns a local boy will die within the year which leads her to work with some boys from the private school. There is a very interesting story being uncovered.

I loved the characters in this story.

Something Real (Something Real, #1) by Heather Demetrios The Deal (Off-Campus, #1) by Elle Kennedy

Or read about a man who wakes up in the hospital with amnesia and quickly latches on to his wife when she picks him up even though she doesn't understand as he had left her in Forgotten Sins by Rebecca Zanetti. This quickly turns into a very interesting suspense/action story.

Sonja (sonjac) | 1364 comments Hi Fran!
Well all I can say is my to-read list has doubled since browsing your PIFM shelf! LOL!
I dug way back in your PIFM shelf to find some of your TBRs here. Sometimes we put things on our shelves and forget about them. We had quite literally NOTHING in common book wise so this was a little like throwing dice, but I hope you get some goodies out of this!

Wheaten Terrier - Irish character, working class or outdoor setting on cover
TBR: The Virgin Intern - working class
NEW: Beyond the Sea - outdoor setting on cover

Yorkshire Terrier: - Set in England, short in length or features parent
TBR: Spencer - British Setting
NEW: Wicked Intentions - I know you don't read historicals right now, but bear with me. I'm recommending one anyway. Maiden Lane is one of my favorite series and this is the first of it. Lazarus is seriously messed up - though not as badly as the Duke of Montgomery in book 10. I won't be offended if you choose not to read it. It's set in England. So there...

Airedale Terrier: - Historical setting, features nobility or character in uniform
TBR: Where There's Smoke - History professor
NEW: Street Game - Uniform (sort of). I'm only on book 4 of this series, but started it because I saw Spider Game in a gift shop. I have to read them in order though so help me get motivated!

Staffordshire Bull Terrier: - Animal or muscular person on cover, shapeshifter, dystopian elements
TBR: Playing for Her Heart - Muscular person and... does cosplay count as shapeshifting? :)
NEW: Hungry Like the Wolf - shapeshifter/muscles. Know you're not doing paranormal right now, but I'm reading this one this month so we can compare thoughts.. not usually my category either, but those muscles sure are! As are uniforms... whoops wrong dog category... meh sue me... :D

West Highland White Terrier: - White cover, bestseller or won an award or made into a film/tv show
TBR: Stealing Christmas - white cover
NEW: Dark Knight: A Loveswept Classic Romance - white cover. Read it and enjoyed it, but it's been a while!

Glen of Imaal Terrier: - Underrated, cover doesn't stand out book in complete series
TBR: Dare to Take - Series and new cover. Plus I know we're reading Carly Phillips for May Monthly challenge. (two birds, one stone... you're welcome)
NEW: The One In My Heart - totally underrated! I read this a while back and it actually surprised me how much I enjoyed this one!

Toy Fox Terrier: - Humorous, character plays a sport, has close friends
TBR: Rule of Three - Friends and TOYS! HA!
TBR: Ex Games - Games are games, right?
NEW: Crossing Hearts - sports and come on... YUM! I confess to a serious girl-boner for soccer guys... and with the WC qualifiers just past and my first manuscript about soccer, this one caught my eye. I'm reading it this month too and have high hopes.

Scottish Terrier: - Set somewhere remote, only one person on cover, kick-ass characters
TBR: Blurred Lines - one on cover and kick-ass female - YAY!
TBR: Melting Jane - Remote location
NEW: Secrets of Bella Terra - Remote location and kick-ass characters. Totally not in the same category as the other two, but I enjoyed this three-book series. Set on a family-owned winery with three hunky brothers who run it. A little danger, a little murder and a whole lotta chemistry. Made me wanna sit back with a glass of wine and enjoy. Oh wait... that's pretty much any book! LOL!
The Virgin Intern by Penny Wylder Beyond the Sea by Keira Andrews Spencer (Not your average British romance, #1) by Kerry Heavens Wicked Intentions (Maiden Lane, #1) by Elizabeth Hoyt Where There's Smoke by Nico Jaye Street Game (GhostWalkers, #8) by Christine Feehan Playing for Her Heart (Gamers #2) by Megan Erickson Hungry Like the Wolf (SWAT, #1) by Paige Tyler Stealing Christmas by Alexa Riley Dark Knight A Loveswept Classic Romance by Donna Kauffman Dare to Take (Dare to Love, #6) by Carly Phillips The One In My Heart by Sherry Thomas Rule of Three (Rule of Three, #1) by Kelly Jamieson Ex Games by Stella Rhys Crossing Hearts (Atlanta Skyline, #1) by Rebecca Crowley Blurred Lines (Blurred Lines, #1) by Breena Wilde Melting Jane by Lissa Matthews Secrets of Bella Terra (Scarlet Deception #1) by Christina Dodd

I hope you like the books I picked for you!

Wheaten Terrier

New: The Ending I Want – Outdoor setting on the cover.
PIFM: Any Time, Any Place – Outdoor scene on the cover, and I like the blurb (I've added it to my to-read shelf).

Yorkshire Terrier
🐾 Recommend a book set in England, that is short in length, OR features a parent.
New: The Invitation – This is a short, sexy read.
PIFM: Her Best Mistake – One of the shortest books I found on your shelf.

Airedale Terrier
🐾 Recommend a book with a historical setting, features nobility, OR features a character that wears a uniform.
New: Never Miss a Chance – Historical romance featuring a headstrong female.

Awesome selection, Heather, thank you!! I'm totally excited (and mad at my library because very few are available)! Got Outlander and Wallbanger and on hold for King, Surviving Raine and Lord of Fading Lands. Several more I wanna read, but will have to find them on Kindle. Hope I can find the time... :) Thank you!
