You're picking for Rachel C. actually :) I am putting the 'picks made' check marks on the sign up list instead of the pairings list which I was hoping wouldn't confuse anyone but thought it might.

I'm really happy you like them! I have to admit I'm looking forward to May as well... although not for the warmer weather (it's already in the mid-90s where I'm at; I'm looking at 100 degree temps next month :/)... but the tomatoes in my garden? Definitely :)

Hi Rebecca :) You're actually always allowed to swap out books for series since sometimes it can be hard to tell where your pickee is at in one:

What if a book is recommended to me from a later point in a series I am reading?

If your picker has mistakenly given you a recommendation for a book you are not up to in a series you are reading, you may read the next book in that same series instead. For example, if you are given book #5 in a series you have started but you are only up to book #3, you may read book #3 instead. It will count for completing the challenge.

This also holds true if you are given a recommendation for a book earlier in a series. If you have been given #2 to read, for example, but you are up to #4 already, you may read the book in the recommended series that you are up to.

Yuck! I definitely don't need it to be that hot! I'm a 'melty' person and like 60-70 degree F best. This week has been only in the 40s for me.
My tomato plants are still only a few inches tall :( I'm trying a pretty short patio variety this year though (Red Robin). It only gets a foot tall... so I planted the entire packet and will have about 30 of them!

LOL. I'm jealous of your weather! I'm growing some hybrid cherry and big boy tomatores, but I have to admit that I cheated and bought them pre-seeded, so they are pretty big already. I only have three plants though... :)

Wheaten Terrier 🐾 Recommend a book set in Ireland or with an Irish character, features working class people, OR that has an outdoor setting or scene on the cover.
TBR: Torn by K.A. Robinson
New: All the Missing Girls by Megan Miranda (Not a romance but I really wanted to recommend this when I saw a lot of similar books on your shelf.)

Yorkshire Terrier 🐾 Recommend a book set in England, that is short in length, OR features a parent.
TBR: Screwmates by Kayti McGee
New: Worth the Fall by Claudia Connor (I really enjoyed this emotional read! The heroine is a mom with several kids)

Airedale Terrier 🐾 Recommend a book with a historical setting, features nobility, OR features a character that wears a uniform.

TBR: Mr. Perfect by Linda Howard
New: Nice Dragons Finish Last by Rachel Aaron (You enjoy a few other UF series that I love. This one is unique and a very fun read.)

TBR: Real Good Man by Meghan March
New: Stay With Me by Elyssa Patrick (Quick new adult read featuring a musician trying to leave her past behind and start fresh in college)

Thanks for the picks. I can't wait to start reading. Two of your picks were also chosen for me in April, so I guess I better read them. I'm excited to go through the list you suggested.
