I think I rated the first book 3 stars the first time reading it. After I went back and listen to James Marsters I enjoyed it more. I really started loving the series after the third book.

Yeah i think I will put some time in between this and the next- it just seems too long for the plot and a little boring. The characters are just meh for me too....

I am just listening to 17 on audio (have read them all) since couldn't find anything good on Overdrive :( and felt I could use a little visit with these characters- LOVE them! Like visiting with old goofy friends.

I really liked the Butterfly Garden - that was a re-read. But it is really twisted! I wanted to read the 2nd in series so wanted to re-read prior to doing the new one.

I didn't mind this book when I listened to it on audio but I got so sick of hearing the words 'at the bbq' a thousand times.
I listened to the audio to. Drove me crazy until I found out everything that happened.Didn't realize Liane Moriarty wrote Big Little Lies. I have it on hold and waiting to watch the mini series on HBO.

I loved Big Little Lies and I've been hanging to watch the mini series. you'll have to let me know what it's like in comparison to the book.
I've read Big Little Lies and watched the series. They were both really good.
I got that one on overdrive. I was bummed when I saw that. I am planning on at least doing the first day of DQs. Maybe more if I really like the book.
I like the BOMs for July the most so far and I'd like to try to read all of them.

We are kicking butt!!! When I checked this morning we were about 80 points behind MF and now we are a little over 600 points ahead in 1st place!!!
I've just updated the spreadsheet and we are now in the lead by nearly 700 points. There must have been an issue with the spreadsheet this morning as we have been consistently ahead for a couple of weeks now.

"Just a heads up, we're going to have a mini-event during July, to celebrate the new instalment of The Great Library series by Rachel Caine.
Details will be up tomorrow, but, since you all will want some tips, reading (and reviewing) any book of the series during July (from July first till the end of tower teams) or participating in the Q&A thread will be rewarded by extra points."
So if anyone is interested in this series look out for more details.
