The read date isn't on there. A few people have had issues with it disappearing.

Looks like the BOMs for June are up. I've volunteered for The Hate U Give but if anyone else really wants to do DQs I'm happy to step aside. I don't think I'll be reading either of the other two books unless I can find them in the library (they're not on Overdrive)

I just signed up for DQs for You. Not sure if I will be able to read all of the BOMs next month. I am on the wait list for all of them at my library, at least with You I only have 1 person ahead with 4 copies of the book.

I may read You|. The others I have either read or not interested in. What concerns my about You is I will probably root for the bad guy. I respect someone who goes after what they want:) jk

Sorry I've been lagging. This last few days have been crazy. Friends came over the last two days and today was the first day it was dry enough to work outside for two weeks.

Just started Strange the Dreamer this morning and WOW! The author uses words like an artist painting a masterpiece! The world building is incredible!

I already read You. I might try The Hate You Give...depends on my mood when it starts.

I found The Gunslinger on scribd so I will be reading it for BOM and signing up for DQs.

I realized I haven't been doing the once a week check in thing I was required to do. Sorry for being inactive but I have exams going on and I actually thought I'd have time to read but I don't. But, good thing is they end on 18th. So, I'll be reading a lot then. Also, summer break is almost here.

Other than that, I have been following the comments. You guys are so cool. Some of you have already read some of the books I want to read. And it's interesting to see the different opinions. Also, this group will probably make me finally watch Star Wars and see what the hype is about. (Also, someone mentioned a Carlos Santana concert. That is so exciting!)

Hi, Sreshtha! I went to see Santana in concert earlier this month & it was AWEsome! He can still rock & the entire band is amazing. Lots of old folks in the audience, but lots of younger people, too. I love his music!

@Lauri - I hate the app because it doesn't let you respond to specific comments.
And.. I love his music too! I get goosebumps when he plays his solos. I can't imagine how excited you must have been!! To see him live must have been an experience in itself!!!

Sounds fun. For some reason a wave of getting things done got me up at dawn. Dishes, laundry, kitchen and living room cleaned and yard work by 10am. Now I'm shutting my eyes.

I just got the audio for Strange the Dreamer from my library. I am hoping to wait until the buddy read starts to listen to it. Still waiting on A Gentleman n Moscow.

It turns out I'm really loving A Gentleman in Moscow. It's not my usual type of read but I just almost destroyed my dinner when I tried cooking and reading at the same time. I really should know better by now.
