Classics are good but I just want to read a light one this time. Any suggestions?

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is light.

The secret garden. My favourite of all time.

A Little Princess and Little Women are some of my favorites :D

What do you mean by "light one"?

Not too intense and there isn't much action. Like the ones said above.

Sherlock Holmes if you don't mind crime? Jane Austens like Emma and P&P are pretty light, and Persuasion is shorter if those are too long. Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson is pretty chill.

Little Lord Fauntleroy isn't too heavy, neither is The Scarlet Pimpernel or Daphne DuMaurier's books.
