I haven't seen it yet. The only NS movie I've seen is the notebook and I loved it.

I've only seen Safe Haven and The Notebook and loved both! I haven't read Safe Haven though

89% (view spoiler)[ Ronnie is just pushing Will away now that her father is dying. I can't believe it was her mom that had the affair and she made Ronnie believe it was her dad!!! What the heck.. Ronnie didn't talk to her dad for 3 years and now I feel she's going to have guilt about that. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 3: (view spoiler)[ The first encounter with Will was kind of cute. Jonah is awesome. I absolutely think he knows how to handle himself just look at the way he blackmailed Ronnie. Blaze is an interesting character. I really wonder why she would want to be with a guy like Marcus, but oh well. I don't like Marcus. i can't believe Ronnie followed them. I did like the fire performance though. That was cool. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 7: (view spoiler)[ I do not really like Scott. He is not that good of a friend if he keeps telling Will to not tell his secret. I really like reading Will's POV. He seems to be looking for a girl who is not shallow. I also like how he described Ronnie. He seems to be a person who values other people without prejudice. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 11: (view spoiler)[ I thought the fact that Ronnie did not yell at her father the first step to repairing their relationship. I really like the fact that he believed in her even when everyone else has given up on her. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 15: (view spoiler)[ Marcus is a real creep. I really dislike him. I am glad Ronnie doesn't have to hang out with him anymore because he is just down right awful. I would not want him in my life. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 19: (view spoiler)[ I love this book. I love Will and that he is the polite Southern boy. I thought Will's mom could have been nicer to Ronnie. I did like Will's dad, though. He was an older version of Will. Also, I really loved the liar's poker scene. Jonah is really good at the game. Also, this is a fun tradition. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 23: (view spoiler)[ I love Will. I feel like Scott is taking advantage of what he did for Will and his mother the day that Mikey died. I love the relationship between Will and Ronnie. That kiss was hot (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 27: (view spoiler)[ I really dislike Marcus. I wish I could slap him across the face. I cannot stand him. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 31: (view spoiler)[ This made me sad. The fact that her dad has stomach cancer is probably making Ronnie regret not speaking to him sooner. I do love how their relationship has grown. I just think that she will regret the fact that she will never get to see him again. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 35: (view spoiler)[ Loved that passage. Galatians 5:22 "But when the Holy Spirit controls our lives, he will produce this kind of fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control." Steve's life was controlled by the Holy Spirit. I find this passage beautiful and inspirational. As it gives others hope to find those things in their lives. (hide spoiler)]

Ending Thoughts: (view spoiler)[ Although this is a re-read. I took the same amount of time to read it because I love the story that much. This book is my favourite Nicholas Sparks book. I loved every minute of it. I am glad that Blaze got her senses together. Although, I am sad that she got burned because of those stupid fireballs. The lessons this book taught me will live in my heart. I also watched the movie. I thought it was great, but the book was way better. (hide spoiler)]
