Challenge: 50 Books discussion

I've begun reading "Media Monopoly" about the corporate takeover of communication that began in the Reagan era. It's recommended for those who are interested in the history of journalism, communication studies, or free speech issues.

On p. 67 the author compares corporate journalism to how the Trojan War has been turned into a heroic legend. Actually he could (should?) have spoken of how we continue to make heroic legends out of the terrible reality of today's wars, and how corporate journalism helps us do it.
