Way to go, Kristine. Good luck with the official launch. Regardless of what happens, you should be proud of your accomplishment. Writing and publishing a book are no easy tasks.
Congratulations! And yes, Michael is right, it almost never takes that long. In fact, after it switches from in review to publishing, it may even show up on the site before you get the email announcement. Best of luck on the rest of your journey!

That's great, congratulations! The time from pushing button to showing up in the system is going really fast, more like 24 hours.
Well...the ebook and paper book are up! I am so excited. Now, I have to keep myself from looking at the sales report every minute. :)

I had this same anxiety, but I pushed the button anyway. I do like the fact that if I didn't like the out-come, that I could take it down and edit to my hearts desire. I am doing that right now as I type this for my first book. I thought it was what I wanted, but once reading it for myself, I saw that I could use some improvement and so I am working until I get it right. The reason I can't wait to push that publish button though, is knowing that once I do, a book written by me will be released into the world.
That is just so cool. Leaving your Mark on the world .

Congratulations to all for hitting that publish button! I know how hard it was for me. But the more books you write, the easier it gets. Marketing aside, now it's time to write that second book. Get cracking!

Great news for all who are pushing 'the' button.You know . . . this might be a fun topic for, well, the 'Fun!' folder. Who had courage to push the publish button today?! What do you think, mods? It wouldn't be a book whack, no titles or anything :)
Deb that is awesome! I know what you mean about checking and rechecking... and then after it's published you find a typo. Hopefully you found all of yours!
I'm going through the exact same thing right now, even though this is my 4th book! I don't think the uneasiness ever abates when you're doing everything solo. But I'm pushing the button tonight one way or another!
