Lee | 357 comments Its always puzzled me why we have different book covers
between our countries, I mean we all read the same book.
So why the difference ?
I do think we in the UK lucked out a bit better with our
cover on the King,Wrath looks too Hollywood gay on the US
book. But our cover for Blood Games is rubbish compared to
the US book. I know not to judge a book by the cover in
terms of content, but some might I suppose

Pam (psteinke) I read an interesting article on this and basically it boiled down to the each international publishing company know what would sell in their region so they work the cover to garner the most possible sales.

What gets me is that I will remember a cover and will have to do a double take when I see the same picture used/tweaked for a completely different book. For example, I've seen a million versions of the cover for Devoured by Emily Snow used by so many publishing companies...some are cropped differently, zoomed in or out, etc. I always make sure I read the synopsis before I judge based on the cover. LOL

Sandra | 25910 comments Being in Aus we can usually get both covers though some publishers tend to go with the UK ones. I personally nearly always prefer the US ones though.

Lauren (laurenjberman) Different publishers often means different covers. What interests me more is different titles for the same books. Weird.
