Ed | 16 comments How many hours a day do you read? Does it depend on the day? And where do you like to read? Anywhere? Or a great chair, in bed, outside?

Matthew (diabeticpanda) | 23 comments depends on the day but usually 30 mins to 1 hour a day atleast 5-6 days a week and that's on my lunch break at work. My favorite place would be on my couch in silence

Snort.

Clyde (wishamc) | 571 comments Highly variable. 30 minutes to 3 hours, but about an hour a day on average.
I read in a comfy chair at home. I also read a lot on the move in trains and listen to audio books when walking.

As I said in the other thread you started, I probably spend 75% of my day reading.

Some of that includes books.

terpkristin | 4407 comments Weeknights, assuming work hasn't just killed me, at least 30 minutes. I'd say I hit that on 95% of weeknights, but some days are just bad. Weekends, it really depends. It's still at least 30 minutes, but if I have a lot of driving to do, or if I'm traveling, or if it's gross outside, it could be many hours. A round-trip to my parents' house, for example, is about 2 and a quarter hours in and of itself, and I see them once or twice a month. Round trip to my sister's place is just over 3 hours. Quality audiobook time.

I used to read 30-60 minutes a day, lately it's been 0 though.

I get about 2-3 hours of audio daily though.

Does that include emails? If so, I work in sales. I'm up there with the 75%.

Lariela | 79 comments Depends on the day. Usually a few hours.

message 11: by Hannah (new)

Hannah Marae I try for at least an hour every day. I usually read after my toddler goes to bed for the night.

Brian Webb (brianqwebb) | 45 comments Monday-Friday, about 1 hour total/day, sitting on the MRT.

message 13: by Michele (new)

Michele | 1154 comments I read when I eat, and on breaks at work and at least 30 min to an hour at home - it all adds up to roughly 2 hours a day.

Darren Not long enough.

message 16: by Gary (new)

Gary Gillen | 118 comments I go by pages read. I read 30 pages every day which usually takes less than an hour. I read at lunch at work or in a comfy chair by the window at home.

Christopher Mclean | 16 comments I normally do 30-60 minutes reading in bed each night, plus around an hour of audiobook listening each weekday in the car.

I can tell I'm really into a book/series when that suddenly becomes a few hours in bed plus five minuets here and there whenever I get the chance
