It's about time to identifyobscure Sword & Sorcery books... one's that are worth hunting down in bookstores and frantic online searches. This may lead to a groupread in the future. Years ago we did this a bunch of us read Cambell's Ryre stories. This is not the time/pace to pimp new books. Please write-in some options and/or vote<.b>

Hot darn, some of the books in the Poll are expensive!

Chris Carlsen's Berseker series starts off inexpensive:
in the US, via Abe Books, the first two are ~6$USD. Which is fine for paperback

But book #3, The Horned Warrior is going for >200USD eh gad!

Abe books has it for 30 or 99: It is less expensive as "Berserker" which must have been another name

Richard | 816 comments Yeah, it took a long time watching for a cheap set of three. Luckily I was able to purchase all three from a seller in Great Britain on ebay back in '04.

Richard | 816 comments Seth, have you tried www.bookfinder.com ? There is a copy of the third book for about $14. That includes shipping I'm pretty sure.

Wow. Bookfinder is an awesome meta-store. All bibliophiles should try that! It crawls across a bunch of stores.

S.wagenaar | 418 comments I thought the omnibus edition was available through Amazon. Something like $14 for all three tales...

It is, indeed. A search under: Berserker SF Gateway Omnibus should get any interested folks there. Sadly, the original cover art is not included as part of the omnibus.

S.wagenaar | 418 comments Ha! Sorry Seth! I should have mentioned this earlier. I might pick this up to back up my original three paperbacks.
