I have never linked pages before so I hope I did that right. Let me know and if I messed it up please tell me where I go. I have only ever stated the pages I read. Did they change this part of it? I ask only because I have never linked my page count before. I don't mind just curious

You go to the main books page, and then under the blurb it'll say stuff like "Original title, ISBN" ect, go to the "Other editions" bit and click "all editions" click the one with the highest page count and then copy+paste the web address like you would with a review. :)

Did they change this part of it? ..."We do ask that people link to the edition they're using for pages as it's a lot quicker for us to check than to go through pages of editions to find it (It can take quite a long time to find the highest page count on a really popular book because of all the translated editions) but we understand that some people have trouble linking.

It says you started this one on the 29th of April, how much of it did you read in May? I can count the points for it but you won't be able to cross a description off with it.

I started it on the 29th but only read 50 to 60 pages then got sick. I finished it yesterday

Why can't the description not be crossed off? Just wondering. It was a book of 308 pages and I would have read more in April but I got a flu bug. Yesterday I felt more like myself and not the walking dead so I read the last of the book...It is listed as a fantasy on goodreads

I would have been happy to help you all out. I appreciate these challenges and how fun you all make them. It looks like I did it right so I will do that from here on out
One last thing, the goodreads book thing said 320 pages and really it was 308 do I let that go or just take the higher of the two???

I changed the date to May 1st. Since I started the book but then got sick with a fever and slept for over 24 hours just about. I only could sit up and keep food down yesterday so I read the majority of the book this month.
Part 2, Number 9 on the instruction page is:- I’ve been in Jumanji! Read a Paranormal story.

Susan - We're allowing books started in April + finished in May to be counted for partial points (Based on how much you've read in May) but as it wasn't fully read in April you can't use it to cross off a description (This applies to everyone.) As you've said you started it in April before getting sick (Hope you feel better now.) and your updates say you read 130 pages in april, I can only count what you've read in May. The highest page count I could find was 320 pages, so you can claim 190 pages for May, which I'll add to your score now.

I truly wanted to read The Great Hunt as my fantasy. I didn't edit my post to where I had to restart because this IS the fun team and didn't think it was that big of a deal. I read pages but kept falling asleep or it would make me sick to look at the words. When I picked it back up I had no idea what was happening so I restarted to where I did remember and read. I never thought it was going to be debated so much or before I posted my stats I would have adjusted it all.
It's all good and we ALL now know. I just have to say that every score I've gotten since I joined in January is all false because I have always counted the books that carried over and gotten full points. That is why this is really confusing me.
I know this may sound mad but I promise I am not. It's hard to hear tone when typing. I also felt I needed to explain myself
@Abbie- quick question then....I have started The Raven Boys 3 times this past year and 2 other times I took it off my currently reading. April 6th I tried it yet again and got to page 21 and stopped...I am trying to love this book like everyone else...anyway last night or the other night (the day I finished the Daughter of A Pirate King) I picked this back up and restarted the book from page 1 to page 99 now. Can I count that because if I can't cross off a description because I read 21 pages on April 6th then I am DNFing this book right now until after this challenge is over.Or
Do I finish because I am buddy reading this with Jordan in our group and the points would still be there but what help am I if I can't get anything crossed off our list??? Let me know please

My book description for The Raven Boys was wrong. It wasn't for winged things it was for the category with things that fly on the cover. Sorry about that

Pages 323 (I started this book in April and was on page 301 when I got the flu and stopped reading it. I finished Daughter of A Pirate King then started this book at page 301 I believe on day 5/3....so the book is 624 page and I subtracted out the 301 pages I had read in April to get 323. I know I can only get the points for this book and that is ok
