Editing and Updating an Old Book

You can get a new bookcover if you wish, but just note "2nd Edition" and the new date. You can send a note through the Amazon contact us saying you have a new update, and it will cause an update button to appear on the booklists of.customers who have already bought it that they can download the newest version.

Unless there is a significant change in the number of pages (say, fifty or more), I wouldn't bother doing anything.

As for combine...I don't understand. If you upload and call it a new version, since you have the same ISBN, it will replace the old and that is all. No combine needed. If you are talking about here then it is really up to you. Since the cover didn't change, I believe you can just edit the page and that's all.
Four months is not much. I agree but... I had published mine at the end of August and my revision was in November, and I hate that the original date isn't there anymore. I didn't mind at the time. Now, almost four years later, I do. :/ But that's just me.
I just updated my book after a thourough editing, but I kept everything the same, same cover, title, isbn, the only thing changing really are the page numbers. Should I do a new version of it and combine it? Or is it a way to change the page number in my first edition?
