Yay! It is a date! My finals are done on May 12th and that next week is WIDE OPEN!
I hear you. I have lots of extremely complicated work to do (I'm translating something pertaining to the automotive field), and those books are not going to read themselves! I would be even more frustrated had I an ARC waiting for me right there on my desk.Good luck with your finals!

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of insurance law, it was the age of wills, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of jurisprudence, it was the season of Light, it was the season of law school finals, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of legal procedure...Okay, you didn't actually mention jurisprudence, but it sounded good.

I got an ARC of the new Nora Roberts book that is coming out late next month!!!! (This would be the "best of times" alluded to in my post title).
BUT, I am in the throes of law school finals and cannot drop everything and devour it cover to cover like I want to. (Hence, the worst of times)
Lord, give me the strength to stay focused on insurance law, wills and trust, and legal procedure (oh my!) and please let my schedule stay blissfully clear the weekend of May 13th so I can do nothing but read.
In the meantime, I studied with it sitting on my lap last night.....
