Alisha Marie (endlesswonderofreading) | 13 comments I'm so excited to do this readathon! While I've participated before, this is the first time that I can devote the entire day without the stress of schoolwork looming over me. Unfortunately, it will also be the last as I start grad school in the fall, so I probably won't be able to participate in October. So, I'm going all out (kinda) this year!

My TBR pile is currently:
The Bloody Chamber and Other Stories
The Picture of Dorian Gray
Penance
When Dimple Met Rishi
Words in Deep Blue
Cinder
Meg & Linus
Scrappy Little Nobody

Alisha Marie (endlesswonderofreading) | 13 comments 1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today?
Connecticut, USA

2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to?
Probably Penance by Kanae Minato. I read Confessions last year and I loved it! Hoping the same for this one.

3) Which snack are you most looking forward to?
I have a dark chocolate cherry espresso bar that I can’t wait to dive into.

4) Tell us a little something about yourself!
I’m a preschool teacher who tries to corral her 17 3-5 year old students into some semblance of control. Oh, and I also have a 7 year old white terrier dog named Scout.

5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to?
I’ll try to space out some healthier snacks with the junk food.

Alisha Marie (endlesswonderofreading) | 13 comments Mid-Event Survey!
1. What are you reading right now?
Meg & Linus
2. How many books have you read so far?
2
3. What book are you most looking forward to for the second half of the Read-a-thon?
Probably Meg & Linus
4. Have you had many interruptions? How did you deal with those?
Just my dog who insists on walks.
5. What surprises you most about the Read-a-thon, so far?
How not tired I am. Admittedly, I'm not doing the full 24 hours (I need my sleep so desperately), so maybe that's why. That knowledge is helping de-stress my body.
