message 24: by Katherine (last edited May 31, 2017 03:34PM) (new)

Katherine (katsikes) | 171 comments Books read in May: Scrappy Little Nobody by Anna Kendrick (Audio); If You Ask Me (And of Course You Won't) by Betty White (audio); On Second Thought by Kristan Higgins (audio); Sweetbitter by Stephanie Danler (audio); All Grown Up by Jami Attenberg , The Wonder by Emma Donoghue ; The Twelve Lives of Samuel Hawley by Hannah Tinti (audio); The Nest by Cynthia D'Aprix Sweeney ; The Ascent of Rum Doodle by W.E. Bowman .

Currently reading: The Power of the Dog by Don Winslow (audio); The Miracle Morning Journal by Hal Elrod ; Lily and the Octopus by Steven Rowley . I don't expect to get any more done in May, but I am about 60% done with The Power of the Dog, and The Miracle Morning is short so I'm about a third of the way done. (Has anyone else read this? The number of grammatical errors is galling - not to mention the awkward writing.)

message 25: by Julie (new)

Julie M (woolyjooly) | 314 comments Two more for May: 'Looking for Salvation at the Dairy Queen' and 'How it all Began.' Fun reads, both, but of course very different from one another.
