This is a relatively short book so we will try for just under 60 pages per week as follows:

May 7-13: Chapters 1-9
May 14-20: Chapters 10-18
May 21-27: Chapters 19-26
May 28-June 3: Chapters 27-32

James Catt | 3 comments Sounds grand. One of my favorites by Zola

Sarah (sarahbethie) I loved it and devoured the book in one weekend. A grand choice!

I don't usually join the monthly reads because I have so many other TBRs but I like to read in French and this one is short. We started a Zola series read a few years ago but only got through the first 3 which weren't his best.

Suki St Charles (goodreadscomsuki_stcharles) | 31 comments I started the book yesterday, and it pulled me right in. I was going to read along with the schedule, but I finished the book today-- I couldn't help it! It was my first Zola, and I really liked it. I will post in the end discussion, because I don't want to accidentally give away any spoilers.
