Probably Brandon Sanderson's Oathbringer at 1,248 pages. This is also from a series of ten books (three published)... each over 1000 pages.

Also was gifted a copy of Sanderson's Mistborn Trilogy combined for Christmas one year, which was well over 3,000 pages. Not sure if that counts though haha

At the moment, The Brothers Karamazov is the longest, but it'll replaced by The Count of Monte Cristo

I think the longest book I'v read is my copy of The Hero of Ages at 781 pages.

In Search of Things Past, Marcel Proust, clocks at 4215 pages as for Wikipedia, and is considered the longest Western novel with a unity (Game of Thrones is a series of novels, even if I would consider it a unitary oeuvre. Wow. I would never have thought that I would write these two titles in the same paragraph, ever.)
I am comfortable with bricks, having read The Lord of the Ring, Ulysses and It before fifteen, and I have to say that Proust makes for a very easy task with his superior style. I had to wait to be 35 or so, though. I tried it in my twenties and it didn't light any bulb. Now, I am addicted.

Hawaii by James Michener/1136 pages

Even though James Michener died in 1997 I still consider him to be one of the most prolific & influential writers of the 20th century. He's worth searching out.

A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara at 720 page. Heartbreaking book :(

Start with the Psalms they are wonderful. I was raised on the bible :)

It was probably Gone with the Wind at age 13 - 1039 pages but it might have been Hawaii. One source says that Hawaii is over one thousand pages but another says 936. I got 3/4 into Anna Karenina before I got sick of his long winded rambling about serfs and farming.

Google says the Bible is 1,200 pages but I think most of them are more than that. I always skip Numbers but have read most of it. I took Survey of the Old Testament in college. That was very tough.

The Bible (several times), War and Peace, The Brothers Karamazov, Les Mis and Lonesome Dove come to mind. None of them touch Remembrance of Things Past, which I've been watching for in Half Price Books :)

Proust “In Search of Lost Time”, or maybe Solzhenitsyn “ Gulag Archipelago”, 3 volumes. Which is longer, I don’t know. “The Golden Bough” is hefty too.

The Outlander books that ranged from 642-1458. I abandoned the series after the fifth book. As much as I did enjoy the stories, I simply could not read another one of those tombs. There is no reason a book should be that long. Every one of those tombs should have been broken down into more books. I do not understand why a publisher would ever put out a tomb like those.

One of the Kepper of the lost cities that was almost 900 pages and I read it in a week 😅
