So I just watched the new mission impossible film and it was pretty good although I preferred rogue nations I don’t know there’s something about the style I like what do you guys think

Also I had a go at reading Star Wars a new hope script to see what it’s like and you can see a few changes with the script and the film and there are a few videos which look at specific scenes in films and how they are translated to film and there very surprising

Speaking of scripts I’m considering putting my new script here which I hope to work on soon which involves a magic pen so there’s the ego gone

Also I watched venom last week and it was utter shit and my film experience so far has been utter shit

I believe I just automatically make assumptions about people I meet online and that includes age.
Somehow I almost always believe others are older than me, maybe that's a sign I subconsciously believe I'm younger than I actually am, it's kinda weird xD

I think I'm gonna put some of my story ideas here, because I've had a few and I spent the last few weeks talking about them with my mate and I might as well put it out there.

Any Marvel fans here? Because I want to talk about Sandman



So I found Sandman an interesting character, even though he was more of a bruiser type in the comics (not much of an expert so correct me if I am wrong) But I quite Liked Sam Raimi's version of Sandman, a sympathetic villain and then I thought of my own version of Sandman.

Ahdam's Sandman

So my version of Sandman would be a character named Faris, a person of south Asian or middle eastern descent however he lives in New York and is 3rd generation American and I imagined him as being in his early 20s who hasn't has the best upbringing bullied quite a bit, strict parents and pressures of doing well as well as a huge introvert who is very disgruntled with the world.

So in my version, he was one of the people disintegrated by Thanos (Yeah I know bear with me here) and he and many other people were in a superposition of living and dead. Faris was terrified as he was alone until Spiderman tried to help him and promised to stay with Faris and protect him.

However once everyone was saved and placed back, Faris was one of the last few who went back and there is some time dilation so while Spiderman was one of the first who went back, Faris didn't go back to what felt like decades. But when he finally went back he was transported back to the beach he was on, but something went wrong, as the sand molecules bonded to his body which lead to a painful mutation, turning his body into sand.

After what felt like a millenium the pain had stopped but Faris was permanently disfigured from the transformation and unlike the picture above I envision Sandman being incredibly bony and demonic like kind of similar to xenomorph but having more human characteristics but made of Sand and much more painful.

His past, the disintegration, the betrayal and the pain was the last straw as now Faris has become The Sandman a mixture of hatred, fear and anger against the world and to Spiderman. At first he is afraid but as he learns to use his powers he realises how easy it is and takes justice in his own hands as he disfigures criminals he sees as bad which leads to the death of thousands thanks to his twisted mind filled with resentment for his family and friends.

My Sandman has had enough with the world and for treating him unfairly so he wants to get back and show what he can do but despite getting used to his powers he can't turn himself into his human form as it is painful and difficult which enrages him. But Spiderman the person he trusted to take care of him wasn't there for him and now he wants to kill him.

He is more of an antihero as his hatred had messed him up and while this is all just from the top of my head it feels good to get it out there because it would be interesting to see something different.

I might do this a few time I feel like I need to put the stories in my head out there and while this one isn't as detailed as I thought, you never know what could happen but I like stories and I like to fly in my daydreams so yeah hope you enjoyed
