Maybe this is the best place to ask about this book, because nobody else knows what I'm talking about.
I read a horror anthology in the 90s of questionable quality, and I can't remember the title. I remember a handful of stories from the collection, though:
- A young man visits an old friend at his estate, and keeps seeing a weird caterpillar around the premises. The friend later dies of an illness, which the caterpillar personified apparently.
- A girl who never met her dead birth mother is sick of her mean stepmom, and uses black magic to summon the spirit of her birth mom to possess stepmom. It works, and she discovers the hard way that birth mom was a psychopath who wanted to murder her when she was born.
- Another girl's stuffed animals keep trying to rip out her family's throats.
- Some poor kid keeps getting abducted by the stretchy arms of his dead grandma, who wants him/her to spend eternity with her in her "pretty pink casket".
