The rules are pretty simple - try to get 4 up/down, 5 across, or 4 diagonally to score a Bingo! Squares cannot be combined with other squares with the exception of Read for 2 Straight Hours, Read 500 Pages, Finish a Book, Read a book or story in one setting, Read in a new place, and Read outside.

A question: what does "spread the read-a-thon IRL" mean? I'm slightly confused about what I have to do to get this block. Is telling someone else about the read-a-thon all that's required?

Like Laura explained in the first post, you need to motivate somebody you know to read as much as they can, either for a day or for the whole week.
