John DeMarco (johnmichaeldemarco) Hello. I just returned from Key West and some quality time at the Hemingway House, and have ordered copies of all the Hemingway books I've read to read (quite a few). I'm looking forward to interacting with all of you.

Cheers,
John

Discussing ISLANDS IN THE STREAM right now. Have you read it? Wanna join in the discussion? :-)

John DeMarco (johnmichaeldemarco) Hello there. My copy of Islands in the Stream just came in the mail today! My intention was to read all of Hemingway's works in chronological order, and I just finished The Sun Also Rises today. I was going to tackle A Farewell to Arms next. I'm really trying to study the progression of Hemingway's thinking, life experiences and writing style across time.

T Huang | 1 comments Hi John, I'm doing the same, reading through Papa's work chronologically. The "push" I got from "The Sun Also Rises" was so compelling that I go straight into "A Farewell to Arms." Nice to meet you.

Kevin Smith | 4 comments Good luck with your goal. It has taken me a little over a year to finish all of his writings except one "True at First Light." This is an ambitious goal but the more you read Hemingway the more you will want to read. It starts as a passion and ends up a compulsion....lol.

John DeMarco (johnmichaeldemarco) Nice to meet you also, T! And Kevin, so true! I'm in A Farewell to Arms still...haven't had a lot of time to read the past couple of weeks.
