5.1 - A (Wo)Man of Letters
Read a book written by an author whose first and last name initials can be found in MEDIEVAL. Letters may only be used as often as they appear. A last name is a name in the final position preceded by a space. One qualifying author in a work by multiple contributors works.

Just to clarify: Daphne du Maurier would work for this task, because there is a space between du Maurier. Correct? Thanks!

The first and last name initials are DM, that works.

I'm trying to fit a book by Victor LaValle. As far as I can see, the surname is one word with a random capital in the middle, so the initials would be VL - which would work here - but as its an odd-un, I wanted to double check.

The initials are VL.

From reading the rules page, I understand a single letter would suffice for a first initial, but how would two work, as in the case of V.C. Andrews? Would this be VA or VCA? Thank you!

VA
