I'm thinking of creating a spreadsheet like I've done for the team I'm on. Idk if you would prefer it but I'll make it and we can use it or not.

I know there is a wildcard but we need to make sure to use it when there is literally no other option. I do have two books that would fit that category but obviously I will only take 1 because I'm sure everyone else wants it. Going to post my possible reads soon.

I wouldn't read Legacy of Blood just yet because it's a key word we might get later on.

Which Wildcard do you prefer so I can add it? There's a limited space.

If anyone ends up getting a BR that should probably automatically be picked so we get more points. I'm waiting until everyone posts to decide which books to read and ask for a BR.

It has to be in the title correct? What about series title?
If series title is fair game I might have 1 or 2.

Btw do you think the spreadsheet is too simple?

I put points in message 3 so that we can move things around if books aren't as much points as others.
I'm guessing the only reason we would move around a book that has a lot of points is if someone hasn't chatted in a while or doesn't think they will finish the book.
Might have to change the wildcard since there is an option for thing. Will do later.

Checking in :-) I for sure have a boy and kill, I'm sure I can find others, but I'm doing medium because I am sure I'm not going to be able to use all my books, but I will do my absolute best!

I think someone was talking about buddy reading The Boy Most Likely To over at Team Clownfish.

We will fill up boy and kill when we add yours. Should we wait or should we just add them now?

I'd be up for it, and I am a fairly quick reader I can usually finish a book a day, nothing like some people around here, but as I said I have lots of other challenges going on, so as long as I can fit in books for this I will try to make it work,....

You can do whatever works, I'm good with whatever, you can leave a spot open and I can take it if needed later.....
Where this is going to be really tricky is if we get stuck without any new words, I think project is tough but you don't want to pass on the first list, but I guess we'll get a new word fairly quickly with the wildcard :-)

I can be the same way. I tend to read fast when motivated.

The Rules - this works because of the series name for project.

I'm going to add the books since I know you are a fast reader. We can always move things around later.

We can use series names? Well that makes it a little bit easier, I need to subscribe to that thread, I usually don't during sign-ups because there are way too many notifications :-)

Yes, it says so in the rules. You can also use the author's name. One person asked if the last name Red.. something counted for the red key word and it did.

I should be pretty challenge free that first weekend and if my team gets kicked out of the amazing race, I will have a lot of book time freed up, I'm not sure how many challenges I'm going to be in, because I'm running three and I'm not doing those :-)

Oh no! How many are they down to?

Seven, I think, but I believe there are maybe three that can't get kicked out this week, not sure but I'm preparing for a detour tomorrow, so I'm trying to finish of books quickly before Friday.... it is a lot of fun, but it limits my decision making as to what I want to read, and you think I'd get some kind of special treatment, but no! LOL i'm glad you are in the group, we have a lot of fun, and so many fun challenges coming up, I'm excited :-)

Ha! Yeah, I was reading so much that I wanted more challenges. They are really fun so far. It's getting me even more competitive than I already am :D

That challenge is crazy btw. It must have taken so much preparation to create it.

sorry random question- how is everyone finding these books for the specific word? I have no idea how to get started.

How do you usually purchase or borrow your books? Just plug the word into the search engine and go through what comes out.... three of my books I already have in my electronic library, and the other one I've been wanting to read :-) :-)

You can also check on your online library search to make things easier.
