Hi Cait. Totally love this from your profile...Super basics: I'm Cait, I'm 27 and I read whatever I CAN FIT INTO ALL MY 900 READING CHALLENGES.
I So hear you on that 900 challenges.

I know. I must be crazy.
I had a private group to track challenges, but that started to not be enough and went to spreadsheet. Which was good, but it was hard to see what was up and coming up. So now I'm trying the app Todoist out. I like that I can add task for all the challenges and assign them due dates. The individual not timed ones I can set out a week so they show up as "current" but easily move them if I don't happen to have a book that I read for a team challenge that works. Going back and setting it up for all the challenge already in motion has been slow, but it is coming along nicely.
What have others found to be good for them?

Checking in
Carmen - hello again fellow Death Star team mate!"
LOL hi Linda, Plethora and Cait :)

Oh, yay! we have another challenge addict :-)

Better watch out Carmen, she might lead me to more challenge to sign us up for :)

I used to do spreadsheets and such but found this way was easier for me to do without getting overwhelmed :)

I'm only doing one other challenge right now, looks like I'm outnumbered here :)

Maybe the only sane one...lol

Hi my name is Joyce and I am addicted to challenges.....
I've tried a few ways to keep track but ended up the old fashioned way ...Pen and notebook. I also use a calendar app on my computer and phone. I like the idea of the todoist app.

So mass adding of task I do from my laptop. But I can easily view anywhere and add quick add a project for adding the task later if I sign-up for a challenge on the go.
Carmen has been benefiting from the app since we collaborate with each other. So as I add task for myself I add her one as well.

So with the app I can add a comment with the book right away to remind me for when I post.

oh I didn't think of that. *goes into hiding* LOL ;)

I'm only doing one other challenge right now, lo..."
Hi Elena and yes I agree with Plethora, you may be the sane one. LOL

I've done it a handful of times before but this time I've got a newborn in one arm constantly so probably better for someone else to steer the ship haha

We'll also need a team name, right?

Thanks for volunteering! If you need any help with it, just let me know. When I captained the teams, I just had a format that I filled in each week. Was super easy and kept it neat so I could see who had checked in with their books/reviews and who we needed still.

I know Carmen has some RL stuff going on or she would. And I'm super busy still through June. But both of us can lend you a hand Elena.

I'm not very good at making up names so Google to the rescue! :) A couple of ideas (I know they don't have to be associated with #10 I just like it) -
Count to Ten - kinda game related
Top Ten
TENacious
Good (or Bad) InTENtions - or one of other billion words with TEN as a part of it
Does anyone else have anything in mind? Do share!

Supernaturally Tenacious
Thanks for taking the captainship Elena. As Plethora said super RL issues and I don't want to mess the team up but I'll make sure to keep up my readings, promise. Plethora will make sure of it ;)

10 to midnight
I'm going to be in and out because of work I can usually always find something to fit into a challenge but have too much in real life to be captain, but I'm a great follower

Sorry I am traveling for work right now till early next week. I really won't be able to be captain with my work time constraints. But I can always find something to fit into my challenges as I have a huuuugge TBR pile LOL

How about
10 to midnight as a name all the others sound great too

I like TENacious too :).
Only seven hours to go before the start! Countdown here just in case. I'm on Eastern time and probably won't be up to roll right after start (1 am my time), are you guys okay with the Friday morning roll? Or does anyone in the West would like to do it tonight?

I can do roll for us this evening since I'm a west coaster.
TENacious works for me as well.

That'd be great, Plethora, thank you!

So I'll be reading

Cait, I have the same book lined up for #4! It's been a while since I read #3 but I really enjoyed the series so far, will be interesting to compare notes. :)
And it looks like we are "TENacious", right? :)

I usually drag my series out for like years but I've been flying through Iron Druid. It's awesome.

Review: This is the best book of the series so far. Jessie (Hector) fiancé from when he was alive is threatening Suze when her step father and brother turn up old letters from Maria to Hector. Suze is stuck babysitting for the summer at the local resort that her stepbrother works at. She meets other mediators and is mentoring a young mediator.
