Hello, and thank you for joining us for June’s book club discussion. My name is Diana, and this month we will be reading The Unmade Bed: The Messy Truth about Men and Women in the 21st Century by Stephen Marche.
The Unmade Bed is an exploration of the relations and dynamics between men and women, told from the perspective of a man who gave up his career as a professor when his wife was offered her dream job. Marche’s wife, Toronto Life editor-in-chief Sarah Fulford, provides a female perspective in footnote commentary throughout the book. This memoir and cultural critique is a thought-provoking look at gender roles and the modern day “battle of the sexes”.
This book is available from the Library in several different formats, all of which are accessible at the following link: https://goo.gl/13c2AX
