End of chapter 3 (view spoiler)[ I am so angry that the doctors don’t know that Kayden’s Dad stabbed Kayden, and they just think it’s self harm. His mum makes me sooo angry, how could you be that way to your child!!! I really hope Callie tells people about Caleb, so he gets what’s coming for him and Kayden gets off these charges! Chapter 15 (view spoiler)[I feel invested in Callie and Kayden’s relationship... but I’m so annoyed that Kayden won’t tell the doctors that his dad STABBED him or that Callie won’t tell her parents about the rape. They are putting unnecessary stress on themselves by keeping those secrets. (hide spoiler)]

Finished (view spoiler)[So this book was pretty good, I think I just get aggravated because they put a lot of unnecessary stress on themselves by not telling anyone... and that’s basically the entire plot. So to me, the second book was a little unnecessary. After Kayden got stabbed, they both could’ve confessed that they’ve borne ben abused and there, story over and happy ending. Lol 😂
I am interested in Luke’s storyline though. I’ve had my fair share of theories about him, so I’m excited to learn more! (hide spoiler)]

It’s funny though, as even though I agree that the second book was unnecessary and could have been added to the first, I wonder if the first would have been any good without the cliff hanger at the end.
