A.P. Martin (apmartin) | 2 comments I am considering taking my ebook away from its current publisher and republishing myself on KDP. I can do this without penalty. I self published the paperback edition via Createspace and the reviews of both editions are combined on Amazon. As the content of the book is not changing, I'd like to keep all existing reviews when the ebook is republished on KDP. Does anyone know if this is possible? Thanks.

I would like to know the answer to this question too :)

Pamela Beverly (writesistah) | 54 comments That's a good question, A.P. I've been thinking of republishing the e-book version of my first book that was removed from Kindle last year for some reason unbeknownst to me.

C.A. Pack (capack) | 50 comments I think it may have more to do with the ISBN or ASIN number. The reviews are probably attached to the identifying number more than the book title. If you resubmit the book to KDP using the same information, I would think the reviews would go with it. But I'm not sure. I've been publishing ebooks since 2009 but I've only used Amazon.

Marie Silk | 611 comments It sounds like an issue that you would contact Author Central about after you republish your ebook. You probably just need to ask them to "combine editions" and that is how reviews stay put.
