Things like Gentleman Bastards and Gods of Powder I put into up to date. You're waiting on the author.

Your series total is pretty low but you've opted for some huge book counts between Malazan, Discworld and Dresdan.

Kieron Wanted somewhere to keep track of the series I am reading and so included non fantasy as well. My incomplete fantasy list is smaller than I thought, especially compared to some of the lists I have seen. At one time my plan was to not start a new series until I had finished one, but I have decided that is just not feasible.

Kieron Yes I gave it 5 stars Ahdam. It was like an old school fantasy in a way, but done very well nonetheless.

A Malazan book is a trilogy of something else. It's also three times the enjoyment making it worth it.

Great progress.

Quiet month for me in August only 2 books read. 1 non fantasy and 1 new fantasy series started.

Kings of the Wyld (The Band, #1) by Nicholas Eames . City of Thieves by David Benioff

message 17: by Bill (new)

Bill | 2150 comments I hadn't realized that David Benioff was an author. What you think of his book?

Kieron Bill wrote: "I hadn't realized that David Benioff was an author. What you think of his book?"

Me neither. It was a book recommended by Samir in another thread which I can't find called hidden gems. I recognized Benioff's name from Game of thrones, so decided to check it out. It's a good, fast paced story about 2 boys forced on a adventure in Poland during the war. I enjoyed it.

Bill | 2150 comments Well done Kieron. I’m looking to start Liveship Traders this month. I loved Goosebumps in my younger years. How are they holding up?

Really enjoyed it Tammie. It's my second Agatha Christie, the other one was And Then There Were None which was also very good.

The Goosebumps books are ok, probably not aged that well to be fair. I'm sure will you will enjoy Liveship Traders it's typical Hobb putting her characters through the emotional ringer.

message 27: by Bill (new)

Bill | 2150 comments Hobb puts me through the emotional ringer too. Always need a break between her books.
