1. A Game of Thrones by George R R Martin or The Circle by Dave Eggers, I'm undecided, I'm going to aim to try and read them both because they're both extremely high up on my TBR.
2. Fall is my favourite episode, I don't think there is one scene that I dislike, so I'm going for Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert
3. Wild by Cheryl Strayed, read by multiple characters including Lorelai, Jess and the women Lorelai meets on the PCT.
4. Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare
5. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J K Rowling

1. A book from a summer episode:
A Song of Ice & Fire Series by George R.R. Martin - referred to as Game of Thrones. I've read the first two in the series, so I will be reading A Storm of Swords, the third.
2. A book from your all time favorite episode:
Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut, from the episode Teach Me Tonight. I love this episode!
3. A book read by more than one person in the show:
Franny & Zooey by J.D. Salinger; In Season 2, Ep. 15 (Lost and Found), Lorelai asks Jess why he was in Rory's room. His response is he was going to leave a copy of Franny & Zooey for her, but she already had it on her shelf.
4. A book Rory read while at Chilton:
The Portable Dorothy Parker
5. A book published after 1984:
The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan

I really enjoyed the book! It was pretty predictable but it was so well written and such a sweet and endearing story.
I have slacked off on creating a Spring challenge, so I'm going to jump right in and start the Summer mini challenge since it's already June. This challenge will run from June 1 through September 1. Be sure to post your task list and let us know when you’ve completed a task by making a new post in this thread.
Example: Sept 1, completed task one, Great Gatsby
Be sure to use the Rory Gilmore reading list that can be found in the “How It Works” thread from Black, White and Read Books blog, and you can also use the list of books featured in the revival which can also be found in the How it Works thread. I’ll try to keep up to date with a score board and post the winner at the end of the challenge!
