That is a conundrum! I hate it when stuff like that happens. I did some research, and the best I could come up with was "Pushing Ice" by Alastair Reynolds with the main character named Bella Lind. Eh?
This webpage has a list of sci-fi books with nanotechnology in them, so maybe something will jump out at you: http://best-sci-fi-books.com/19-best-...
Do you remember anything about the cover? Even how long ago you bought the book or how long it has been since you read a little from it might help. :)

Ventus looks promising and a few other maybes. Main character is Calandria which is somewhat close to your name guess.

You're welcome! Glad I was able to help.
Ok but how awesome of a group of people this is? I don't think how much we can comprehend how much you guys made this persons' day. I'm so proud!

Yay! Compliments from Mama Cersei! Can we sit on the big pointy chair now, Mom? Pleeeease?
But really it was all Niki, Chris, Scott and Tammie.

Totally! I just observed and threw my hands up while they worked hard. But really I just love things like this, random acts of kindness.

What I did was look in the "readers also enjoyed" section on the right side of the book page of the one Scott found. It ended up being right there!
You'd make a great bookseller. :)

"Hey! Where's the book by that one lady on that morning show?"
"Can you help me find a book? I don't remember anything other than it has a dragon in it."
"I was reading a book in here the other day and I can't find it. It was around there somewhere" ::waves hand at approximately half of the store::
We found them all.

Haha – isn't it amazing how many books we can pull out of thin air because we're so immersed in them on a daily basis. That is an excellent example.

It was the dream job. Mostly because I loved organizing (and unboxing new releases always felt like Christmas). It's such a task-heavy job that booksellers ironically never have time to read on shift, generally. Haha
