Hi! It's time to start thinking about what we'll read in July. The theme is WITCHES! nice or mean, sexy or ugly! I can't wait to see what y'all come up with.

**Books chosen for a group read or listen within the past 6 months will not be eligible and authors may not nominate their own work.

Please remember, books with multiple nominations are more likely to make it to the final poll.**

Oh shoot! I forgot that with Samhain out, THE NIGHTMARE GIRL hasn't been re-issued with another publisher yet! (I have a paperback and eBook, but that won't help dozens of members).Sorry about that--I should have checked first.

it's ok. book we've read or listened to in the past 6 months can't be nominated. But Hex would've fit perfectly.

Lisa - OwlBeSatReading (owlbesatreading) | 17 comments There's some great suggestions here! I'm not too sure about Gaiman though, I tried watching American Gods series, and struggled to 'get it! I'm still rooting for The Devil Rides Out (Black Magic, #1) by Dennis Wheatley The Devil Rides Out or
The Witchfinder's Sister by Beth Underdown The Witchfinder's Sister But I also really like the sound of The Witching Hour (Lives of the Mayfair Witches, #1) by Anne Rice The Witching Hour!!! Aww man, I'm so torn!! 😂

message 47: by [deleted user] (new)

I nominate Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch by Terry Pratchett. Seems like a good time :)

message 49: by Melissa (new)

Melissa M This is definitely the group for me! I've read so many of these suggestions! May I suggest A Discovery of Witches?

message 50: by Nickronomicon (new)

Nickronomicon | 179 comments This is a great theme. I'll also push for Speaks the Nightbird or Forsaken to make the poll.

I've never read anything by Edward Lee, but I've been intrigued to read Coven so I'll throw that out there as well.
