I have been doing some thinking. It kind of hurts my head when I do that. But I think "Jon" was named after Egg, not the original Egg from Dunk and Egg. The years just don't make any sense and it had me right confused.

Hmmm. That is a good question. To me it was just a known fact since early on.

I think that's what Robert thought. He probably was in major denial that it could be love (big ego and all).

I thought that too about Robert, but then Lyanna would of had to write? To someone. Or rumors I suppose.

My other theory was Littlefinger. He likes to sprinkle some chaos. It seems like a far stretch, but at the same time sorta possible since he created this rift. The reason I think it could be true is because Littlefinger tried to fight Ned's brother for Cat and he lost. Wasn't there a huge gap between young him and when we meet him in season 1. Ned's brother and father get killed by the mad king, and Robert starts this war because of the Lyanna. Seems fishy to me, but hey I could be over thinking it.

My other thought, which again I could be wrong. Do you think Rhagear and Lyanna could of been married before the tournament in Harrenhall. (If that is the wrong place where he gives Lyanna the rose, I am sorry) His ex was still playing her role as wife, but he still gave the rose to Lyanna. It is kinda cute and Rheagar did the right thing by giving the rose to his wife. It still could be asking to court Lyanna.

I have a question that may have been explained before, but I missed it - who are the Children of the Forest and why did they create the Night King in the first place?

The children of the forest are the first people, right? Then the first men came. Isn't the night king a man that they changed, but I don't know the reason.
