I am so excited to start my reread of Way of Kings tomorrow! It's been far too long.

I'm also extremely excited to start Theft of Swords tomorrow. Pretty sure I'm going to breeze through Michael J Sullivan's books over the next few months.

Re-reads area always great! Probably about 50% of the books I read are re-reads.

I'm glad you're excited to start the challenge. I think this is going to be a great few months. :)

I got my last few reviews in for the Awards challenge and all my other teams so I'm all clear to start in an hour. :)

Less than 40 min! Woohoo! Counting down the minutes while reading manga! :D

ALRIGHTY so I made a reading system, I need ya'lls opinion.

I have one jar, filled with little slips of paper that say, owned, library, ebook.

When I want to read a book I pick one of those, and if it says 'owned' I have to read a book on my shelves, ebook I have to read an ebook, and library I have to read a library book. (Obvs)

THAN I have a second jar, with little slips labeled 1-250, I pick a slip out of there. I have two lists on goodreads for owned books and library and I'm going to had 250 books each. So whichever # I pick is the book I have to read.

It seems complex, but it keeps me reading from a variety of sources, and the numbers are just helpful to figure out what to read next lol. Obvs if I'm doing a reading challenge, such as this one, these jars don't apply bc I have to make a set TBR for the challenge. But when I want just a random book, this is how I'm going to pick them.

Tomorrow I'll be out in the hot sun all day watching big trucks doin a mud race. It's gonna be a blast and my man made us some apple pie so I'll be drunk off my ass probably pretty darn early. I'm bringing a book just incase but we shall see what I actually get done lol. WHY do ppl plan great fun events on the first day of a challenge?!?!?

I'm also a mood reader but I need to get'er'done & just read what I have needed to read for so long.

IKR?! My family knows not to plan much at the beginning or the end of the month!! :P

Thankfully my family doesn't do much often and don't tend to celebrate holidays. Everything is going to be closed tomorrow for me anyway so it's a great day to read! :D

@CP... when you read Avempartha I might join you... it's the second book in theft of swords

RainySun and I are starting buddy read of falling kingdoms and Outlander from July 1 for this challenge... just in case anyone is interested to join :)

If my copy of outlander isnt in storage I may join for that. Ik that one will take me forever to read.

Same with us Ginger... we're planning on taking it slow as well

Oh, and Happy Canada Day, Bookbuyer! I guess that's why all of the stores are closed? For Canada Day, I might watch an episode of my favorite show: Due South. :D

Yup. My neighbours already started celebrating early with fireworks last night. I can expect a lot more tonight though. Lol

Well the 4th is our Independence Day (as I'm sure you know) and people have been doing fireworks for a few days already. So I know the feeling!
