I was checking for the new season of Continuum on Netflix when this question came to mind. Are there books like it out there?
Time travel would be cool, but it's not necessary for me. SF or F will do. I love the aspects of revolution with a protagonist who represents what's popularly viewed as the wrong side (at least, that's what the popular opinion of corporatocracy seems to be), of revolutionaries going to questionable lengths, of personal agendas mixed with high minded ones. Basically, lots of gray area. A chance to explore these deeper issues in a fun, fast-paced story.
Worm: http://parahumans.wordpress.com/table... Features a teenager with a superpower that lets her control bugs. She is mistaken for a supervillain on an early outing, and is thrust into a world where hero and villain and good and evil don't always match up.
Try John Ringo and his Troy Rising trilogy. The first book is Live Free or Die. It has some really good ideas and technology. I love the main character, but even some of the minor characters are memorable.

Any suggestions?
