Prologue was kinda interesting. The beginning and learning her life is okay too. Hopefully something cool happens

Prologue definitely sets us up nicely.

Chapter 8 (view spoiler)[ I feel like Rylie is being a bit of a crybaby... No offence or anything but if I were her, even if my life was turned upside down, I'd be freaking amazed. One day ago, you were a human and now you are a faerie with wings and magical powers??? Who's first reaction to that would be anger?? I mean, I guess her reaction is understandable because she doesn't want anything to disturb her perfect life but still... (hide spoiler)]

Up to ch7. Not feeling quite the same vibe off this relationship-it all feels more innocent. Also can't believe how calmly her parents behaved when her real mother turned up...and changed.

I am starting now. :)

Chapter 21. Oops, I forgot to update this D:

Things are finally moving and happening!

Up to ch11-she didn't have long before they found her, but it feels slow.

Up to ch17-feels a little repetitive. I'm sure she'll do as expected soon.

The end came REALLY fast
(view spoiler)[ idk how i feel yet. I kinda like it and i kinda like her power. But it was really slow and there wasnt much of a climax. Since it was so short it was an easy read. Ill probably read another (hide spoiler)]

Finished. Nothing particularly awful or special about this. Think it might grow on a reader, but I'd have liked to know a bit more about the dark world.

Okay so I fell a bit behind in starting this xD will try finish it today!

Good start with the prologue, introducing (view spoiler)[Azura as a worried mother who had essentially made her child a changeling to save her from those who would do her harm. Shame about the human child she was traded for, but I suppose if that child would have died regardless there was no harm done? I guess? (hide spoiler)]

Ch2

Finished. Why do I increasingly feel, this one's more and more like ? (view spoiler)[ I don't think anything much happened after that transformation. Though I feel this perfect life of her to be a bit sloppy. I mean, she can't stay with Adam for a minute without a kiss. What she has with Kallan is far more better. I wish the author had focused more on the faery world rather than the romance though, there could have been so much more to the story :/ *And Rylie is all whiny just like Bella* (hide spoiler)]

That didn't feel like a surprise to me, it almost felt forced.

Ch22

Doesn't the whole story feel cliched ? Like, why bother hiding Oleander if she would eventually be found out? And btw, the dark faery world isn't that dark as it's supposed to be.

Well that was a sudden ending. I realise it's a short novel but (view spoiler)[it really seems as if the story was drawn out immensely at the beginning and then the author tried to shove in as many things as possible in the last 1/3 or so o.O (hide spoiler)]

It definitely did feel rather cliched. It wasn't bad, and it was fine for a short story, but if it were longer I don't think it would've worked. Because it was so short there wasn't so much of an issue on the amount of development of the characters etc I think?

Yeah, definitely, short story - so no excuses for lack of character development, lol!
