Ben Nash | 200 comments I asked this over at SF&F Book Club too, with no answer yet.

Can anyone recommend books like this show? It doesn't have to be exactly like it, doesn't even have to be SF. Just recommend anything that comes to mind and say a little bit about how it's like the show.

Looking forward to the feedback.

Nokomis.FL (nokomisfl) | 316 comments If you like fish out of water time traveler tales, look into Outlander by Diana Gabaldon, soon to be a series on Starz produced by Ronald D. Moore of Star Trek, Carnivale, Helix & Battlestar Galactica fame.

Also check out Time and Again by Jack Finney

Anthony Eichenlaub (anthony_eichenlaub) The themes in Continuum that really resonate with me deal with society being taken over by corporations. Turns out this is a major aspect of the cyberpunk genre. Neuromancer by William Gibson is a good place to start, and maybe Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson. I haven't read that second one, but it's on my list.

No time travel there, but if you like how Continuum portrays the future then cyberpunk is the place to look.

Nokomis.FL (nokomisfl) | 316 comments Try The Unincorporated Man by Dani Kollin. The difference here is a billionaire wakes up in the future after being frozen and resurrected. They deal with the whole life debt and corporate rule that Continuum borrowed.
