Old Books, New Readers discussion

The reading schedule is as follows:

Week 1 - June 25 - July 01, Part 1, Chapters 01-12
Week 2 - July 02 - July 08, Part 1, Chapters 13- 24
Week 3 - July 09 - July 15, Part 2, Chapters 01-12
Week 4 - July 16 - July 22, Part 2, Chapters 13- 23

For some reason I didn't realize that was a Disney movie but then again I watched it soooo long ago. I just read All the Light We Cannot See last year while I did like the descriptions of her enjoyment of the story it made me want to read Voyage of the Beagle far more than Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea but the reason for that is that I feel obligated to read it in French.

We will see how that goes lol, I got both the French and an English version from the library. Going to pick those up and crack them open tomorrow to try and get a tiny bit of a head start.

My annotated edition states that the older translations omit alot even a whole chapter in one section. Did anyone notice their chapters are off from the reading schedule chapters?
