I'll be a little absent this next week, as I'm on holiday in Toronto, but in July I'll be back home and reading away

What is everyone's favorite genre?

I read almost everything. As long as the book is good, genre doesn't matter. But I'm more iffy on chick lit, historical fiction and magical-realism.

I mostly read contemporary and paranormal. I try other genres but I seem to have trouble getting into them.

I love Contemporary too. Though paranormal I haven't read as much of. What kind of books do you count in paranormal?

I'll read anything but I'm mostly a fantasy girl! I do want to try to read more adult and contemporary though.

Basically anything that has ghosts, vampires, werewolves, and mythology is considered paranormal.

@Quirks - Are you still planning to read for July? If so, I'll buddy read it with you.

I messaged Julie to see if she was going to participate. If I don't hear back from her by tomorrow I'll have Sarah replace her.
