Locus Online is reporting that Daniel Keyes, author of Flowers for Algernon has passed away June 15.

He will be missed.

I love that book. Loved it when I had to read it for school in 7th grade, and loved it even more when I returned to it as an adult.

I just saw this. I'm sorry to hear he passed but I'm glad he left behind such a great and enduring work that will last the test of time.
