On the list there are already three countries: Mexico, Colombia and Chile.
I've got some suggestions for next countries:

USA: Gloria Steinem "My Life on the Road"; Dave Eggers "The Cirle"; Paul Auster
ENGLAND: George Orwell "1984"
JAPAN: Haruki Murakami "1Q84"
SWEDEN: Jonas Jonasson "The Hundred-Year-Old Man who climbed out of the Window and Disappeared"
NORWAY: Karl Ove Knausgard "My Struggle"; Jostein Gaarder "Sofie's World"

What do you think? Any other suggestions??

I checked both they sound great!! I think there is a movie of Brooklyn. I watched it and liked it a lot. Moreover, Cólm Toíbín got some awards for his novel! 😊

Clara Chillmann | 1 comments Finally I made it into this group :)
My suggestions are:
LIBANON: Khalil Gibran "The Prophet"
AFGHANISTAN: Khaled Hosseini "Tausend strahlende Sonnen" Sorry, I dont know the english name of the book. If you find another book of Hosseini (for example "Drachenläufer") it will be amazing for sure too ;)
