Please could you take my survey for a class assignment: http://tinyurl.com/y4znm6w8
Malfoy. The whole lot of them. Draco, Mummy and Lucius! I guess you can throw Narcissa in there as well, being she was a Malfoy before she was a Lestrange. Though I have to say, you need villains as good (bad) as these to help the story unfold and strengthen the plot. I hate them all and love that they were there! Cheers to Rowling.

I know Kreacher can be pretty hard to love, but in the later books he changed a lot. He had only been angry and rude because his main examples in life were the Blacks (except Sirius). Once Harry, Ron, and Hermione showed Kreacher real love and respect, he changed to be the opposite of what he was taught to be and changed to WANT to help them. The book even says that Harry was sad to leave him to continue on his hunt for Horcruxes.

2. Bellatrix Lestrange
3. Draco Malfoy
4. Percy Weasley
5. Kreacher (but he is loyal)

after that maybe Quirrel or Snape"
Oh my god, how can you not like Snape?

Sorry but Kreacher was a lovely elf at the end. Definitely one of my favourite characters in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
I still can't get over the fact that he was waiting for Harry, Ron and Hermione, dinner ready, and they never came back.
Kreacher deserved better.

Anyways, she was a lier, a fame seeker. Unbearable since the first paragraph she appeared.

Wow, never thought that someone who read could be THAT simple. Real friends don't get jealous? Yeah? Try to be a poor guy who happens to be the best friend to the most famous person in your world. Also, that stupid fight is your proof to say that Ron was evil and you hated him the MOST? OUT OF HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS OF EVIL CHARACTERS!? Wow... you are so stupid! Like sorry but....you really are.

Really good point! She was downright nefarious. The evil characters were evil, and you get it. Good and evil, blah blah. But Rita, she was sneaking around for personal gain, trying to get that big story, but it was all self-serving. She wasn't committed enough to be evil, but she was definitely a pest...

I think Snape is a great character, albeit you don't like him. I think I'll always like Snape more than he deserves because of Alan Rickman. I don't actually like him because of his love of Lily- it is more how incredibly brave he was to be inside Voldemort's inner circle while still playing for Dumbledore. I mean, he can't go around being super nice in Hogwarts, it would ruin the illusion as well. And, he is just a cranky person.
Umbridge- as much as I hate her as a person, still a good character. Percy is just useless.

I agree, Erin. It's not Snape's love for Lily that endures me to him, it's his bravery. Although - I too am a cranky person, so maybe THAT'S what truly endures me to him lol...

I know I am quoting an old comment, but YES! Maybe because we deal with Harry Potter through the series so much we have more chances to see his lack of actual development as a human. Blindly trust this person or blankly hate another person and then just refusing to budge on whatever he thinks, no matter what logical explanation has been given to him. Harry Potter is pretty lame, but alas it is 'his' story.
Of course antagonists like Umbridge suck, but you never really expected change from characters like her...

Hate might be a strong word, but I do hate her because she felt insignificant to the story. I also rejected the idea of her romantic entanglement with Harry, since I always see Hermione as a more potential suitor to Harry. I'd rather have Harry married someone completely anonymous, or a character unknown to me before, rather than someone that scarcely appear for the whole series.
I get that if Rowling wants to develop a secret crush of sort for their love line, but in a world so complex like HP, as much as the trio, giving the main character someone that I know but barely, it's hard to accept.
I was so engulfed on the trio's journey that it's complicated for me to have him share his life with someone I felt pretty insignificant to the story in spite of re-appearing throughout the series.

Hey, by any chance was this your reply to my comment?
I'm not sure why I have to be wronged for this little pickiness I have with the series. It's not my fault nor Rowling or even you who disagree with my opinion, it's simply things that I have difference with, and since this is a subjective thing, no person would ever be at fault... technically.
"but because, even if Harry loves Hermione so much, he, in his thoughts, show us that he gets annoyed by her a lot and NEVER felt anything that could hints us that he liked her in a romantic way at all."
Wow, I'm surprised for you here. You seem like the kind of person who likes it black and white. I'm curious on how you can be so confident of this. Does that mean, your parents never fought at all, because they love each other?
I agree that Harry was never written to have any romantic interest to Hermione. Which is why, I see her as a 'potential' and not a 'definite' suitor. Because I can see their potential from their similarities on dealing with things, and from the way they always got each other's back. They're very in sync and I love to see that in two people. But, doesn't mean these people will go down together. And I get that. I respect Rowling's decision. But I still don't like Ginny and that probably would never change.

Also Umbridge because she was a dumb , power hungry woman.

It's not that I like it black or white, it's that there are things that escape our taste, I'm talking about facts. My parents or any other couple fighting doesn't mean that Harry was annoyed but in a romantic way with Hermione, as you say it later, he never felt anything for her. If he, even for a second, have had some doubts about her, then I would not act like its a black or white situation, but it really is.
Also, about disliking a character, you are right, you don't have to feel required to like a character, but to the point of hating her more than Lucius or Dolores or other huge number of hateful characters basically cuz she wasn't Hermione...
You also said that she never add to the story (Which is not true at all) and that you preferred Harry to marry someone unknown to the story, to later add that you were so close to the trio that giving him to someone that you barely knew felt hard to accept... I may be a black or white guy, but, with all due respect, you are a walking contradiction.

Así que lo cambio por Percy Weasly.
Cho me parece bastante hueca también.

He was so selfish in the last books. He really rubbed me the wrong way
