PARK SANG-MI — 26 : werewolf : female : bi
alpha / blacksmith ( kim hyuna )❝ freedom soon will come, then we'll come from the shadows ❞
weaknesses : silver, wolfsbane
powers : shapeshifting ( wolf only ), enhanced physiology
Meeting Sang-mi often leaves people slightly in awe of the alpha werewolf. Stern and unyielding, she rules her pack firmly and justly. Around others, she is soft-spoken yet also somehow a figure of great respect in the community. While she way raise eyebrows for being a female blacksmith, her skills are invaluable, although she refuses to work with silver (the reason is obvious if you know her).
As an alpha, Sang-mi is used to having to tell people what to do. As a woman, she's used to being ignored or belittled whenever she does so. Hence why she's often seen around the village with one of her various threatening tools in hand, in case someone thinks they know better than her.
Sang-mi was born to the previous alpha of her pack and his wife, and as a child was trained to take her father's place when he died. She hid in the shadows for most of her life, watching the way the pack worked and learning what made each of its members. In her quiet observancy, she was often overlooked by her father, unless he was actively searching for her, and she soon learned how he really treated her mother. As soon as she had turned eighteen, Sang-mi turned on her father, challenging his leadership. Over the years, she had convinced much of the pack to follow her — she knew that otherwise her challenge would cause many of them to leave.
It was a fierce and long battle, and her father fought furiously, but ultimately it was Sang-mi's cleverness that won out. Although she had gained the allegiance of most of the pack, there were still a few who did not agree with her leadership — in part because she was a girl and in part because she had killed their leader. They challenged her, but she defeated each and every one.
Since then, she has ruled her pack firmly, justly, but fairly. And although there have been many more challenges to her leadership over time, Sang-mi is yet to be deposed.Maybe they just need a blacksmith too much.
family : eun-chae, nam-il ( both deceased )
