"Come in at your own risk. the door's unlocked" He called out wearily.

"Not dead, maybe dying though." He was happy that it was Jan, not someone else. Flopping back down onto the bed he sighed.
"Again, you enter at your own risk."

"Never mind... shouldn't have mentioned food." He grimaced and pulled up the covers, shivering slightly.
"I remember when I got sick at home, my sister would always come in and make these funny stories up. She's younger than me, so it was super cute." Tevi smiled slightly and then frowned again.
"Great, now i'm actually sick and homesick."

"Really? Cause I feel like i'm stuck in the middle of a snowstorm and I have snow down my back." He joked. It was true though. He had never understood how one could have a fever and be burning up on the inside, while feel like their freezing on the outside.
"Thanks Snow Queen, you're the best."

"How considerate of you." He said, smiling, despite the fact that he still felt disgusting.

"Thanks." He smiled and sat up, feeling a little bit better.
"Did your... brother did you say? Ever take care of you when you got sick?" He asked. He wanted to focus on something else that wasn't his own homesickness.

"How come? He is your brother after all." He watched Jan curiously.
"There's a chair right there." He gestured to his desk chair, just in case she wanted to sit down.

"Poker... that sounds interesting." He had always tried his very best to be the best brother possible for his little sister. It always annoyed him how some people took their siblings for granted.
"I'm sure he loved you though." He said softly. Another wave of nausea hit him, and he had to stop talking.

"Are you saying that i'm ugly?" He said with mock horror. But he lay back down and stared up at the ceiling.
"You really are the best Jan. You know that right?"

"You can choose. I mean if you want to stay and creepily watch me sleep, you can do that, or you can leave." He grinned at Jan and then drifted off to sleep. His breathing becoming soft and regular.

"Hey, Jan?" He whispered. He didn't want to wake her up, he just wanted to check if she was asleep.

"Never mind." Gingerly he made his way to the bathroom, trying his best not to make too much noise. He was trying to be so careful that he ended up running into the door frame by mistake. "Oww..." He muttered, laughing a bit at his own inability to be quiet. In the washroom he tried his best to make it look like he hadn't just spent half the night puking. Unluckily, the dark circles under his eyes and the fact that he still looked a bit green gave him away.

"Thanks for staying by the way." He grinned at her, and then looked around for where he had put his toothpaste the night before.
"How is it that after sleeping in a chair for hours, you still look good Snow Queen?" He asked lightly. Getting onto his knees he grabbed the toothpaste which was under the sink and began brushing his teeth.

"You didn't even move onto a chair or something!" He frowned at her.
"Do you enjoy being uncomfortable?" Tevi made another attempt at flattening out his burgundy hair with a comb and then gave up.
"Alright. Should I risk breakfast?" Immediately he paled a bit.
"Okay, never mind. Would you like some breakfast?" He asked Jan.

"Are you sure? I have cereal here, and uh, chocolate... my sister sent that." He said with a smile, taking out a little pink chocolate castle that his sister had sent a while ago.
"But you probably don't want chocolate in the morning." He paled a little bit again and paused, unsure if he should stay where he was or skedaddle over to the washroom again. The nausea passed and he smiled again.
"Ok, i'm gonna stop talking about food now."

"Come on! My manager is already mad at me for giving someone a free ice cream!" He argued again. Sighing he lay back down. "Oh whatever, if they fire me though, i'm holding you accountable." He grumbled.

"I really hope you do, since my boss is rather good at ignoring words." He muttered as she left. Out of the few jobs Tevi had done in his life, this one was actually one of the best. Basically his job was to make people happy by giving them food, it could be a lot worse.
