I know this movie came out a while ago now but I only just realised that there wasn't a message board about it on here yet.

I went to see this movie when it came out and I absolutely loved it. It's one of my favourite movies to come out recently and possibly my favourite movie of this year so far. I thought the plot was excellent and the writing was incredible. I loved how dark and genuinely scary it was while also having humour thrown in. The performances were perfect. I loved the commentary it was displaying and I thought the tone throughout was just expertly done (the awkwardness, the tension).

What did others think of this movie?

I haven't seen it yet. I want to watch it! After reading your review, I may go buy it tonight!

It was extremely good and the jumping off point for this generations round of cultural horror. If you haven't listened to the Nerdest Podcast interviews with Jordan Peele regarding how he came up with this and what horror films inspired him I highly recommend it.

I watched it and liked it well enough but with all the good reviews on it, I thought I would like it a lot more then I did.

I thought the first three quarters of the film were great and it was an interesting and thought provoking idea.

However I was disappointed with the ending which was a shame.

I think that was my main issue with it, the ending.

I think this movie is amazing

Didn't care for this movie and don't really care for Jordan Peele. He focuses on a certain element when he should be focusing on horror.

I gave him another try with the movie Us but it didn't fair any better.

I have seen both "Get Out" and "Us". I like both of them, but I think "Us" is the one that is genuinely frightening and weird.

I loved them both
