Being in Australia means they always knock me back- not a big enough market, here, and I am too new to the reviewing to be important/influential enough. *sigh*

Which have you tried? I have been at about half and half success rate, and I am not sure why yes or no.

Asked for The Lady in Red but didn't really expect to get it!

I just tried for it. We'll see. Did you know that this book A Duke to Remember won the 2017 RITA for HR short novel?

I didn't know that but that's awesome!

It's great to see a relatively unknown author winning such high recognition!

Ursula (ursi) | 283 comments I didn't know that either, but then I don't live in the States so am not up with all the different author organisations and awards. Well-deserved, I would say. I particularly like her men. They are alpha without the arse-hole factor. Not many authors in this genre manage that.

So true

Giselle (gisellesbookgarden) Speaking of wanting books that are audiobooks too, (and it may only be an american thing, I apologize if it is) how did I miss hearing about the Audible Romance Package? It's so cool! It's only around $7 a month (if you already have an audible subscription (which I do.)) and there are so many HR books on there!! I'm in heaven. I'm probably going to get it in February or March (when my schedule is free) and binge like crazy.

lorii (Loriidae) | 1120 comments Unfortunately it is only an "American thing ". Hopefully it is super successful so they put it on in Australia too!

I had a look at the .com site and it looks great. Our licensing laws are pretty strict to protect Australian authors, but it is super annoying when I hardly ever read Australian authors (hangs head in national shame - I actually don't like Australian made television either)

Cool, I have heard of it. Not sure if it's worth it for me, considering the amount of listening I do versus reading. Do you have to have an audible subscription for it?
