Sci-fi and Heroic Fantasy discussion

hi guys looking for certain type of book
sci-fi ship/crew orientation with maybe an alien coming on board (somthing like the alien movie) or like super natural being. any 1 know of some good novels like that.

Do I guess correctly, since you mentioned Alien, that you're looking for a hostile alien or supernatural being, possibly leaning toward horror?

We had an earlier topic on simply Ship Crew-oriented SciFi, which has a lot of solid recommendations for Scifi focused on a spaceship crew, but not specifically sorted for alien incursion.

The Voyage of the Space Beagle by A.E. van Vogt is a classic of this sort.
