Zenobia smiled faintly as his response. "Thank you." She spoke appreciatively. She was glad that he wasn't going to try and leave. She questioned what was happening in her mind, why she felt so attached to him, but couldn't quite seem to figure it out. "Why won't you leave? Why don't I want to leave?" She asked him blandly. She didn't understand it after however long it had been she had forgotten what emotions did what so she couldn't quite grasp what was happening to her. She opened her eyes and watched as two of the luminescent fish swam by the pink coral making it stand out amongst the rest of, bright and vibrant in comparison. The stars above were nothing new to her, but the entire world under the water was a wonder to behold in her mind.

((I just realised that she's basically a psychopath dead set on suicide regardless of the repercussions...))
Zenobia looked straight at the ground a saddened smile on her face, "Perhaps..." She muttered under her breath, her emotions somewhere between raw depression and unimaginable joy. There had only ever been one person she had loved in such a way before in her entire life. She was not willing to throw around such terminology quite yet, but there was perhaps the chance that this moment was meant to happen. Every now and then she would come across a person in a world who seemed to be just like one from another, unique in many ways, yes, but fundamentally one in the same. Perhaps that was what was happening here. Sadly she couldn't confirm such a thing, regardless of how similar they could be in some ways it was just a resemblance, she had to carry through with her goals in the end, no matter how much it would hurt because, in the end, it wouldn't matter. None the less she was going to savour every moment with him she could. Her eyes absorbed the scenery, however, her eyes lingered on one thing, her lance, the weapon with which she ended worlds once and for all, the unstoppable force that never fails when its time has come. Even underwater it's golden form shimmered in the light, it was beautiful in every way which is what made its awful nature so shocking. She couldn't help, but to stare at it. It was the only thing that stayed the same without changing throughout all worlds, a constant, something to which she could bind the final threads of her sanity yet at the same time it was the very reason she had any problems in the first place. "I return those feelings." She responded after a rather long silence. She wished to figure him out fully first, but she felt as though she must at least like him a touch.

She soaked in the silence, she both wanted for him to say something, yet at the same time, she feared the moment any words left his lips. "Eden..." She began, letting the sound of his name ring through the air for a moment before speaking up again. "I may not agree with your choices, but please, be you and don't let anyone sway you... You are something special..." She told him, believing he held more importance than he could ever think he could. "I have seen many things, but you are one of my favourites." She informed him truthfully. It was a rather blunt statement, but it was true, he wasn't dull, he held a similar idea of what beauty was as she did and he wasn't blatantly obnoxious either.

She couldn't see his smile, however, she hoped he took it well. "Of course, you may, I don't see why you couldn't." She told him, wondering why he felt the need to ask her if he could do something, he was allowed to act on his own free will after all and she couldn't see why her thoughts on a matter would change whether or not he tried something. Even if what he did was endangering she felt safe in his arms so she wouldn't be phased by it.

She wasn't sure what he was doing at first, her expression displayed her perplexity as to his actions. He scanned his face as he looked at her, noting each feature, but in the end, she was indifferent. He was handsome she could not deny such a thing, however, what she truly liked about him was who he was not his appearance. She took him kissing her as a surprise, she couldn't quite comprehend what was happening. Zenobia went completely unresponsive for a moment her eye completely blank and the other completely dealuminated. It took a moment, but eventually, she processed what was happening and her face went cherry red and her body became less stiff. She wasn't sure what exactly to do, but she acted on instinct and kissed him back, but she couldn't quite put her entire self into what was happening, dazed by what had just happened.

Zenobia relaxed further, now comfortable with his lips on hers. She tried her best to match his actions accordingly, but she was falling apart due to her own inner conflict, she didn't want to kiss him because it would just make things harder later, but she couldn't stop herself, it was just what felt to be the right thing and she simply couldn't stop herself from wanting to kiss him. She held herself close to him, not wanting to let go and kissing him back, trying to ignore her thoughts of doubt on how awful this would make things be later. Zenobia felt sparks... Literal sparks as her body became laced with electricity. The part of her that was worrying tapped into her powers and caused her to push away and fall back into the wet sand. "I-I'm sorry!" She exclaimed now giving into her own worries. "As much as I would like to kiss you again, this will only make things harder..." She explained trying to bring herself to her feet. She took her lance in her hand as powerful air forced the water to part above her. "If perchance something happens and this war is brought to swift and then I will see to it that we can spend more time together, but..." She told him, trailing off not sure what to say. "I don't want either of us to suffer more than we already will." She finished, having chosen those words as she thought it would be the best way to word it. She slowly lifted off the ground and looked him in the eyes, "I ask you to promise me one thing, that you won't die. If you can do that then I'll be happy." She requested of him. Her expression now back to its usual blank form, but underneath she felt more broken inside than she had for a long time.

when the world did, though some part of him was determined that there was a way that he could probably stay with her, some way that he could. He looked up to her and nodded. "I understand your emotions Zenobia, believe me I do, but before you go, a gift." He motioned to the water which made a small figure of a small sea slug, but not an ordinary one that he manipulated the water to make. It was a Blue Dragon sea slug, beautiful but deadly. The waters shaped it quickly and with his magic made it seem a more realistic hue of dark blue and white. He crystallized the small figure, in a way that nothing could ever break it, not fire or ice a thing that could be protected by any element. The crystal figure drifted to her, floating to her hand, his magic made her hand bend to grasp the figure, then he let her do what he could. "I promise I will not die, that I will scour the ends of the earth to be with you, I do hope we see each other again soon." He said to her, his promise true and sure. While the water came down and enveloped him, he took one last look to her and waved slightly, before the waters took him completely. Thus began his journey, to find a remedy to stay with her.
Zenobia watched every last moment as the water filled the opening she had made. Once he was completely out of her sight she ascended back into the sky, holding his gift close to her chest. She couldn't bring herself to have waved back, but she was glad that he understood her worries. She looked at the little figure, it was beautiful, much like the creature itself. She eventually reached a cloud up in the sky where she placed down the figure. It was a sweet gesture and a reminder of his words and their moment together. Despite all that she had to continue on, her cloud drifting away, just as she should have been doing, but no matter how hard she tried her thoughts were imprisoned in that moment, reliving it over and over again.
((I just reread this and I just want to say these two are such sweet but sad pair. I love it, but oh how it hurts my soul...))
