C.P. Cabaniss (cpcabaniss) | 8238 comments Hmmm...maybe something to do with resolutions? Not sure what...oh, and we talked about maybe making two or three bigger teams to encourage more participation. But however you decide to split them up is fine.

message 702: by Felicia (new)

Felicia | 15003 comments Question. And it's a stupid question.

But should I put you as C.P or Courtney. I don't really know which to go by. Lol.

YAY! I love making teams. One of my favorite things to do!

What should the team names be?"

Something New Years related! :D Maybe use something from the Chinese New Year?

message 704: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments There are 25 participants so I think three big teams will work.

message 706: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments I was thinking maybe the team names could be encouraging words people use when people are trying something. Like:

Team you can do it!

Team keep up the good work!

Team don't give up!

message 707: by C.P. (new)

C.P. Cabaniss (cpcabaniss) | 8238 comments CP or Courtney is fine. :) I really only have it as CP because I published my story and that's what I wanted to publish under.

message 710: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments What are we doing about the resolutions?

Should I move all the resolutions for the members of the team to the thread and then maybe they can vote since we have almost two weeks till the start of the challenge???

message 711: by C.P. (new)

C.P. Cabaniss (cpcabaniss) | 8238 comments Yeah, that would be good. Do we want to have a limit on how many resolutions each team has?

message 712: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments C.P. wrote: "Yeah, that would be good. Do we want to have a limit on how many resolutions each team has?"

Maybe 5-10?

message 713: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (last edited Dec 19, 2017 03:09PM) (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments Does this sound okay?

"Please vote for the 10(?) resolutions you would like to work on this month! Voting will end on December 29th to give people a few days to plan their books and BRs."

message 714: by C.P. (new)

C.P. Cabaniss (cpcabaniss) | 8238 comments Are all of the resolutions on teams pretty similar? I don't want to limit it too much if there is a large variety.

36. Read more books in a genre I've never read before or have read little in (i.e. nonfiction. humor, suspense, sports, poems, retellings, fairy-tales, classics, thriller, etc.)

I've gone through and eliminated all the doubles I could see. Sorry the numbers are a little screwy it's because of the deleted doubles.

Also are the sagas that are not manga/graphic novel related? I deleted one that was about manga since manga doesn't count for this challenge.

C.P. Cabaniss (cpcabaniss) | 8238 comments Yeah, maybe have the team pick out 30 from their list that they want to use. Manga and graphic novels can be used if it's specifically mentioned in a resolution, I believe.
