haha you're welcome! I had time before I had to actually do anything today. Like shower, grocery shopping, laundry, and errands. I feel like I should getout of bed ASAP so I can do all of those things then write book reviews

So I have no idea if you have been following the conversation on YA BUDDYs group (on the scrabble challenge thread) but Wolf was wondering if we would do something different for the teams in this group for the March challenge.

I know we were talking about everyone vs the mods for one challenge but Wolf was wondering if it could be me and her on a team and then the other teams against us. Or whichever you think would be a fun competition.

If it seems unfair, like hypothetically speaking, wolf and I win the March challenge. Wolf would get to pick a book and then we could pick random winners?! Depending on how the teams are made we could pick like the top winners there?!

Idk if that makes sense and I probably misspelled something since I’m typing this on my phone and not on my laptop which is right in front of me!!

I need coffee.

No I don’t think we are doing the mods vs everyone. I just know we are planning for one sometime this year.

I think that would be okay. It would obviously depend on how many people sign up though. :)

I think that would be good because then the people who would've been on your team can actually be on other teams and make it easier for the other teams to try and beat ya. :D

I’ve been trying to post less so that people could catch up. Maybe I should just do solo?! Or not compete? Like just do scores after next month?!

But competing is so much fun! But I do think that whoever ends up on your team is obviously going to win. So it's kinda like whoever gets put on your team can just pick their prize on the first of the month when the challenge starts because they're gonna win. Lol.

I'm excited for our mods vs members one because that'll be a month where the top three members will actually be the top three for that team! It'll be so exciting!

The amount of challenges I participate are probably the reason why I read so much but I can totally not compete in April’s challenge and just do scores and see how everything goes.

Well, if you actually want to take a month where you're not on a team how about just doing solo? So you can actually post your reviews still?

Idk. I guess I’m just getting annoyed that people don’t think it’s a competition when I join. I’m not going to stop reading or posting reviews. I guess I’m just going to have to think about it during next months challenge

It still is a competition though? Because mods don't get to win prizes. So we get taken out of the top spots if we end up there. So members still get to compete for the prizes.

It’s happened in this group but mostly in YAs group. It’s like people don’t feel like they actually deserved to win if I’m in the group or that there’s any competition. So idk what to do. I could just do solo from now on or just not compete. I’m totally down to just do scores or something.

I've seen it a lot more in the other group. Especially since I'm on a serious team now.

I've noticed it over there as well. I would say do what you want. If you want to be on a team, do it. If not, just do the other stuff. Sometimes people take things way too seriously.

Sadly I am very competitive at at times. I really admire you though. You and Wolf have inspired me to try to read more and faster. I can sometimes read two books a day now! :)

I can see how it would bug you. Sometimes seeing comments like that bugs me. That's one reason I stopped doing team stuff in the other group, there was too much drama. Not a lot of that here so far.

yeah that's true. I really like the team that I have right now because we planned these buddy reads this month so early on. It's fun reading with them and there's no drama.

yeah sorry I'm not really going to be on today unless I have time to update scores or update with Br comments. I might be able to squeeze in a review every now and then. But this week it's close at work so I'm working 9am to like 1am until Sunday?

There are 19 participants so if we split them up it would be about 9 people on each team and then we have to account for the no shows so I think think two teams is the best shot this month. :)
